How We Make Your Life Story or Family Business Legacy film?

1. We talk
We start by understanding your story, the people involved and what you want the film to preserve. Every person or business is as unique as our films in terms of pace, tone and structure. We ensure we find the best way of telling your story.

2. We research
We may explore photographs, home movies, documents, family history and memories to find ways to tell the story in the best way we can.

3. We film
Relaxed, carefully conducted interviews draw out the stories and anecdotes that might otherwise be forgotten. The camera crew is only 1 or 2 people with compact cameras, lights and unobtrusive audio equipment.

4. We edit
The most relevant clips from the interview are selected and woven together with photographs, archive material and music to create a compelling documentary, with graphics used to sign post the story as necessary. Once you see the film, if there are any corrections required, time is allowed for that - this is rare but it might be a wrong date or photo.

5. Your story becomes a film
A beautifully crafted film that can be watched, shared and passed down through generations is delivered to you in a gift box on a USB stick. You can also receive a downloadable link.  If you want to premier the film on a large screen in a venue, we can supply a higher resolution version. We also can supply a projector and screen with an operator if you prefer.
