About Us
As a child on long car journeys, I repeatedly asked my Dad to tell "His Stories". They not only made me see him in a different light - as an adventurous little boy - but opened a window on a world so different from my own. I definitely couldn't imagine being chased by a shotgun-wielding farmer, whilst clutching the apples I'd just scrumped!
As a professional film maker, I captured these stories and established Life Camera Reaction to ensure other people's memories can live on. I always knew I would enjoy it but I didn't expect how emotional it can be (for them and me!), and also how much more people reveal to me, than to their own families.
I draw on my experience as a BBC Producer/Director, with credits as diverse as What Not To Wear and Top Gear - where I was its first female director. This experience ensures that I can put my interview subjects at ease, whilst drawing out their memories and anecdotes. Interviews are meticulously edited to tell the story effectively with emotion, and then illustrated with relevant photos, videos and appropriate music.
There are often tears, usually laughter and every story is treated with the utmost respect,
because the memories you've made are worth saving.
