Pop-Up Picture Palace

A deluxe cinema experience to hire and enjoy in your private garden, covering North and East London.

The Pop-Up Picture Palace is a bespoke cinema tent delivered and set-up in your garden for you to enjoy a movie of your choice.  The interior is stylishly decorated in your choice of one of our three deluxe themes and filled with chic and cosy furnishings, to elevate your film viewing experience to a new level.  Your choice of film (downloaded from your Prime or Netflix account, or a DVD) is played to our HD projector and sound-bar, while you feast your eyes on the 2.5m screen.   It’s a unique way to celebrate a birthday, significant life event or family film night for up to 8 adults and/or children.

Whether you choose to bask in the Glorious Gold, Tickled Pink or Technicolor Kids themed decor, you will have a V.I.P. entrance, inflatable seating for children and adults, deluxe blankets, personalised light boxes, vintage-style lights, floor covering,  a non-spill tray, snack rack, paper lantern decorations and hot water bottles (or cushions for children).   We also bring along non-spill, (yep, I'm a Mum), insulated tumblers which are perfect to keep hot-chocolate, hot, and cold wine, cold.  A limited number of Director’s chairs are also available if preferred and wheelchairs can be accommodated.

Standard Package in Glorious Gold, Tickled Pink or Technicolor Kids theme - £240 Friday, Saturday or Sunday daytime or evening

Delivery is currently free for N and E London postcodes.

Optional Extras:

****  Additional cinema hire time - £40/hour

****  Additional guests (price includes 8 max) - £20 per person

****  On-site host/projectionist for the duration of the event - £25/hour

****  Popcorn and Pick ‘n’ Mix - £5 per person

****  Children’s Deluxe Party Bags – w/ clapper board, pop-corn holder - £10 each


Things to Note:

* The Pop-Up Picture Palace holds 8 adults and/or children within the tent but the sides are removable to allow for more guests as Covid restrictions and the warmer weather allow it. 

* The standard hire is 3 hours.

* Our Usherette will instruct someone (preferably an adult!), how to use the projector before leaving you to enjoy your event, but will be on call if you require assistance over the phone.

* Start time is usually early evening or daytime.     

* The tent measures 3m x 3m internally and 3 x 4m externally, to allow for the projector housing.  Please ensure that we will fit in your outside space with a bit of room to spare!

* Although the tent is largely waterproof, adverse weather conditions may result in us not being able to offer the experience we wish to give you in such circumstances.  Another date may need to be rescheduled if this happens.  

* We require two power sockets within approx. 15m of the tent.

* Set up will begin a minimum of three hours prior to your hire time. The dismantle of it takes up to 2 hours.

* We have public liability insurance and carry out a risk assessment as soon as we arrive on location to ensure we operate as safely as we can.
